Mother Tongue
Just sitting in Mcdonalds Islamabad. Families around me are Punjabies
and Pushtun. The Pushtun ones switch between English and Pushto.
The Punjabies one prefer to speak English with their kids or then
Urdu. Hardly I can hear them speaking Punjabi. Just thinking why
Punjabis behave in such a manner with their mother tongue... A
language that is rich in culture and Sufi poetry.
